Morning: Check in at the House Boat and cruise along the backwaters towards Alleppey. You will be passing through villages, paddy fields, markets,etc. Overnight on board House Boat.

arrival in Alleppey, disembark from House Boat and drive to Kovalam and on arrival in Kovalam, check in at a beach resort. Rest of the day free on the beach. Overnight in Kovalam.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Cochin
A warm welcome on arrival and transfer to hotel. Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the southwest coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala.
Day 2: Cochin
After Breakfast enjoy sightseeing of the port city of Cochin. The major attractions are the magic of Fort Kochi, the Jewish Market(spice market) along with the Jewish Synagogue. Also worth recommending a visit are the ancient Chinese fishing nets on the coast. Visit St. Francis Church & the Santa Cruz Basilica. Afternoon free for individual activities. Evening witness a Kathakali Dance show.
Day 3: Cochin / Calicut
Drive up north to the city of Calicut. If time permits, visit the ancient boat making at Beypore.
Day 4: Calicut / Wayanad :
Drive to Wayanad. The vast stretches of mist capped mountains, green meadows of valleys, white water springs, blue water lakes and wild forest fabricate the splendid natural beauty of Wayanad.
Day 5: Wayanad / Palakkad
Drive to Palakkad. Unwind and soothe your mind, body & soul with the richness of Ayurveda. The resort offers you full treatments of Ayurveda massages.
Day 6: Palakkad
Day at Leisure for individual activities.
Day 7: Palakkad / Munnar
Drive to Munnar, a place blessed with natural beauty that attracts tourists from far and wide. For adventure lovers there is paragliding and for nature lovers there are some of the world's highest tea estates.
Day 8: Munnar
Full day sightseeing including the Raja Malai, where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats). Also visit Muttupetty dam and Indo Swiss project and witness the tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers.
Day 9: Munnar / Periyar
Morning, proceed to Periyar and check in at a hotel. In Periyar wildlife sanctuary witness tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, tiger and more. In the evening enjoy a boat cruise across the lake. Overnight stay at Periyar.
Day 10: Periyar / Alleppey
Travel to Allepey and check-in at a traditional houseboat. Alleppey or Alappuzha is famous for its boat races, houseboats, coir products, fish and lakes. Alleppey remains prominent on the tourist trial of Kerela as one of the major centers for backwater boat trips. A host of boat races are held here during the harvest season ( between July and September ). The backwaters of Kerala are unique and are a network of lakes and canals of more than forty rivers that drain into the Arabian Sea. The canals connect the villages together and are still used for local transport.
Day 11: Alleppey / Kumarakom
Drive to Kumarakom and check-in at hotel. Kumarakom, situated on the banks of the Vembanad Lake is one the world famous Backwater destinations of Kerala. Fishing, Boating and visits to the countryside make this destination a unique place to look forward to. Rest of the day free at Leisure.
Day 12: Kumarakom

Day 13: Kumarakom / Kovalam
Drive to one of the finest beaches in the country, Kovalam. This enchanting strip of golden sands is laced with the rich greenery of coconut palms. A former fishing village, Kovalam is just 16 km away from Thiruvananthapuram Trivandrum), Kerala's capital city. Kovalam is an evergreen and pleasant climatic beach resort. It is a dreamy place for tourists all over the world. Kovalam is one of the highlights of Kerala & is meant to help unwind relax & end your holiday in style.

Day 01 : Cochin
Reception upon arrival at Cochin airport and followeb by transfer to the Fort Kochi hotel for the night. After checking-in at the hotel, set out on an afternoon sightseeing tour of Cochin - a fishing port and cosmopolitan hub. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, you will visit the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace on Mattancherry Island and St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. See the huge Chinese fishing nets believed to have been brought to Kochi by Chinese traders. Lastly, you will halt at the Willingdon Island, an artificial island created from the sand dug out while deepening Kochi port. It has been named after Lord Willingdon, the erstwhile Madras governor, who was instrumental in implementing the island project. After exploring the major attractions of Cochin, evening enjoy a Kathakali Dance Show in a theatre. Later return to your hotel and spend the night.
Day 02 : Cochin – Kothamangalam (60 Km/1.5 hrs)
Morning proceed to Kothamangalam a sleepy village near Cochin and check into Jose Mundakkal Home stay for the night. The homestead is situated in a panoramic location Where on one side of the river is forest and the other side is spices plantations. You can see lots of birds and some wild life. After lunch go to Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary,one of the best in Asia. Evening return back to home and hands in cookery session. Your hostess Mrs.Daisy Jose will take a Cooking Demo on authentic Kerala cuisine. Over night stay in Kothamangalam.
Day 03 : Kothamangalam – Munnar (80 Km/2 hrs)
After breakfast take a scenic drive to Munnar. You will arrive in Munnar around noon and check into Windermere Estate – a delightful planter's Bungalow. A hill station at a height of 1525 metres Munnar offers a breathtaking view of the hills draped in folds of green carpet of tea garden. Beyond the rolling hills the rich tropical forests abounding in exotic flora & fauna. It is here that you will find the Anamudi peak, the highest peak in South India. Later visit Eravikulam National Park, Tata Tea Factory. If interested take an evening walk through the Estate.!! Over night stay in Munnar.
Day 04 : Munnar - Thekkady (11 Km/3.5 hrs)
Morning you will be driven to Thekkady (also called as Periyar). On arrival check into the resort for two nights stay. Early in the after noon enjoy a visit to the Tribal Village and Spice Plantation tour followed by visit to the park having Elephants an inmates and filled aroma of spices due to plantation of spices in the park. Lets enjoy bathing and feeding Elephant there and finally a joy on their back.. Over night stay in Thekkady.
Day 05 : Thekkady
After an early breakfast get ready for Bamboo Rafting on Lake Periyar. This is a dawn to dusk range hiking and rafting programme through some of the richest forest tracts of Periyar Tiger Reserve. Starting at 8 am from the boat landing, a mosaic of habitats will be traversed before the party gets in to rafts made of bamboos. The forests are rich in bird life and arboreal animals like giant squirrel and Nilgiri langur. The rafting is for about three hours and one gets a panoramic view of forest – clad hills reflected on the lake. Animals like elephant, gaur and sambar are sighted keeping close to the edges of the lake. The team hitchhikes back to the boat landing by about 5 pm. ( Note: an armed guard and 4 guides will accompany the rafting team and Tea, snacks and packed lunch will be served en route) Over night stay in Thekkady.
Day 06 : Thekkady – Mararikulam (160 Km/3.5 hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel. Immediately after check out yo will be transferred toMararikulam and check into your tranquil beach resort for 14 nights stay and Ayurvedic treatments. After noon Ayurveda treatments. Over night stay in Mararikulam.

After Breakfast Chennai one of the four major metropolitan cities of India is the capital of Tamilnadu the exotic state famous for its cutwork in temple, coconut fringes and silk saris In the afternoon you will be visiting some of the Indians oldest British monuments including fort St.George (presently used as the offices of the Tamilnadu secretariat and the legislative assembly and the garrison Church of St. marry the oldest Anglican church in India. Thereafter proceed to Mahabalipuram (01 hrs) overnight in Mahablipuram.
Day 03 Mahalibalipuram- Kanchipurm- Mahabalipuram
After Breakfast leave to a Full day excursion to Kanchipuram- Kanchipuram is a spectacular temple city, which reflects the glorious tradition of south India, with its noted temples and thriving handloom industries It is Popularly called the olden town of thousand temples and is renowned for the Kamaskshi varadarajaswami and kailasanatan temple all more than worthy of visit. Later proceed to Mahabalipuram once capital of the pallava kings to see the fascinating temples there. The magnificent shore temple built by king Rajasimha in the seventh Centaury is a unique temple that houses the shrines of both Shiva and Vishnu.
Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 07 Madurai
Drive to Madurai via Trichy enroute visit the rock fort temple and srirangnam temple a 17th centaury Temple dedicated to Vishnu Sriranganam surrounded by the waters river Kaveri on one side and its tributary Kollidan on the other is a 600 acre islands town enclosed within the seven walls of gigantic Sri Ranganathaswami temple. There are 21 gopurams among which the Rajagopuram is the largest in south India.

Day 08 Madurai
Madurai was the capital city for the great pandya kings and today it is Tamilnadu most happening culture arena. In the morning visit the Meenakhsi temple the Teppakkulam Tank and the ancient Tirumala Nayak Palace. The structure of the Meenakshi Temple that are standing today date mostly from the twelfth to the eighteenth century. Its enormous gopurams, covered with gaily-colored statues, dominate the landscapes and are visible from all over Madurai. . At every turn there is superb sculpture magnificent architecture. Day 09 Madurai- Periyar -Thekkady
In the morning check out of your Hotel and drive to Thekkady.Arrive Thekkady early afternoon and check into your Hotel.Thekkaday 777 Sq.Kms of Lush green tropical forests is the natural habitat of Elephants bison spotted deer sambar bear and many colorful birds. Periyar sanctuary the main attraction of Thekkady is one of the best sanctuaries in India for watching and photographing elephants at close quarters. The Periyar Lake lies at the heart of the sanctuary. Enjoy a cruise in the lake (departure 1600hours), which is a unique experience. Day 10 Kumarakom
In the Morning leave Thekkady for Kumarakom (4rhs) by car. In the morning you will be transfers to the Lake for a houseboat cruise and overnight stay. In olden days these boats would carry rice from one place to other and keeping in view the interest of the tourists these boats were modified and organized in such a way, today as floating hotels In back waters of kerala. Arrive on the Bank of the back water were you will be greeted and welcome to the boat the boat will move slowly in the backwaters allowing to view the entire area of the backwaters.
